The City Dance Academy (TCDA) was established in 1992 and is situated in the centre of Islington. We offer a variety of fun and inspiring dance classes for girls and boys from the age of 2 1/2 years to adult. Classes can be taken for pleasure or to work towards graded examinations. The academy follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus for all exam work. Workshop classes are held throughout the year, and may include belly dancing, acrobatics, salsa and street jazz. TCDA stages a production in a West End theatre every 3 years and we run a summer school for one week at the end of July. Classes are taught by the principal, with the assistance of other qualified and professional dance teachers and performers. Past students include, Bonnie Wright - Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter and X-Factor winner Leona Lewis!
