GIRLS UNIFORM

BALLET

NURSERY - Pink ISTD lycra skirted leotard, optional pink crossover cardigan, pink ballet socks or tights and pink leather ballet shoes with elastics.

PRE-PRIMARY- GRADE 2 - ISTD regulation wear - sky blue leotard, sky blue skirt (Pre-Primary & Primary only) pink ballet socks or tights (socks are compulsory for exams) , pink leather ballet shoes with elastics for class and pink satin ballet shoes for exams (with ribbons for all exams - Primary standard upwards)

GRADE 3 & 4 - ISTD regulation wear - plum leotard, pink seam free tights (we recommend Capezio hold and stretch) pink split sole canvas ballet shoes with elastics for class and pink split sole satin ballet shoes with ribbons for exams.

GRADE 5 & 6 - ISTD regulation wear - Black Cotton, strapped, low back leotard (BLOCH), pink seam free ballet tights (Capezio hold and stretch), pink split sole canvas ballet shoes with elastics for class and pink split sole satin ballet shoes with ribbons for exams. Pink pointe shoes for point work ( we recommend Gaynor Minden).

MAJORS (INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED 1 & 2) - Black Cotton, strapped, low back leotard (BLOCH). Pink seam free ballet Capezio tights, pink split sole canvas ballet shoes with elastics for class and pink satin split sole ballet shoes with ribbons for exams and pink satin pointe shoes (we recommend Gaynor Minden) .



MODERN

PRIMARY - MAJORS - Purple delphinium velvet leotard with high neck and keyhole back, black lycra footless leggings for Primary and black footless tights for all other grades. Black jazz shoes, with split soles from grade 1 & 2. Foot Undeez - Grade 3 - Majors.



TAP

PRIMARY - GRADE 2 - Ballet or modern uniforms should be worn (with black footless dance tights for exams) and black Capezio 925 tap shoes, with toe and heel taps.

GRADE 3 - MAJORS - Ballet or modern uniforms should be worn (with black footless dance tights for exams). For shoes, we recommend Bloch lace up 'Jazz Taps', with No.2 teletone heel and toe taps.



STREET JAZZ

JUNIOR - Black high neck keyhole back leotard with long sleeves, or black crop keyhole crop top for summer, black footless leggings with black dance shorts or black jazz pants. Black jazz shoes or jazz trainers must be worn.

SENIORS - Plain black top and bottoms. Jazz shoes or jazz trainers.


JAZZ

ALL LEVELS - Plain black tops or leotards - own choice of style, black jazz pants, leggings or black footless tights with black dance shorts (hot pants), ankle warmers - optional and black jazz shoes or jazz trainers.





BOYS UNIFORM

NURSERY - PRIMARY - White RAD leotard, black shorts, white socks, black ballet shoes with elastics.

GRADE 1 + - White RAD leotard, black cotton dance leggings, dance support, belt, white socks, black leather ballet shoes.



TAP

ALL LEVELS - White RAD leotard or white t-shirt, black trousers for tap or black jazz pants, dance support, belt, black tap shoes with teletone taps - grade 2 + (we recommend Bloch 'Jazz Tap' shoes with No.2 taps) and black jazz shoes for modern.



STREET JAZZ

ALL LEVELS - Black t-shirt or top, black shorts or tracksuit bottoms, dance support, and black jazz shoes or jazz trainers. (black knee pads for 'Boys Dance') .





ADULTS

Please wear something that is comfortable and that you are able to move around in. No jeans or skirts please. For ballet it is important that you are comfortable but it is also a good idea to wear something that shows the line of your body. Any soft ballet shoes can be worn, jazz shoes or jazz trainers and tap shoes with teletone taps ( we recommend Bloch lace up shoes with No.2 taps).

NO JEWELLERY SHOULD BE WORN. HAIR SHOULD BE TIED BACK NEATLY FOR ALL CLASSES AND MUST BE IN A BUN FOR BALLET. ALL UNIFORM SHOULD BE LABELLED WITH YOUR NAME.

After a period of half a term, your child is expected to be wearing the correct uniform. Students that arrive to class without the correct uniform, will not be able to take part and will be asked to watch.
